Accessibility

Every family should be able to find what they need here, book a session and feel at home in the studio, whatever they see or hear. This page says what we do, and how to tell us when something does not work for you.
Booking without a phone call
You can book, sign and pay the deposit online from start to finish, and change your time from your booking link. Text or email anytime. No phone call needed. Email [email protected] or text (310) 270-1182.
On the website
Screen readers. Headings, labels and image descriptions on every page, and the booking calendar reads out each day, time and message.
Keyboard. Everything works without a mouse, with a visible focus ring and a "Skip to content" link at the top of each page.
Easy to read. Text is at least 15 pixels, and text and colors meet the contrast levels of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1, level AA).
Less motion. If your device is set to reduce motion, the site does not animate.
Signing. Typing your full name is your signature on the session agreement. Drawing one is optional.
Video. Any video we add will have captions and a written version.
At the studio
Step-free. No steps from the street into the studio room.
Parking. We can save a parking spot for you. Ask when you book.
Deaf or hard of hearing. I direct with gestures and expressions, you are welcome to sign for your child, and we can write things down. More in the FAQ
Sensory needs. Continuous light with no flashes, a quiet room, breaks whenever they are needed, and a tour a few days ahead if it helps.
Tell us in the note when you book what would make the session easier, and we will set it up.
Something not working for you?
Tell us what happened and on which page, and we will fix it or help you book another way. Email [email protected] or text (310) 270-1182.
